Masibambane College Junior Primary
Headed by: Mrs. Mazibuko
At Masibambane College Junior Primary cheerful screams, singing, playing and fun learning is the order of each day. The Junior Phase consists of students from ECD (Early Childhood Development) to Foundation Phase (Grade 1, 2 and 3).
Students in these early years of learning have access to the same facilities as their older counterparts, but also enjoy the benefit of having a separate colourful playground close to their classrooms.
From Grade R, we focus on CAPS aligned curriculum and concepts with English as the Home Language and Sesotho or Zulu opted as the First Additional Language. Our other offerings include Mathematics and Life Skills with specialist classes in Computers, Music, Dance, Physical Education, Art and Religion.
Junior Phase has four classes in Grade R and Grade One, while in the Grades Two and Three, there are three classes each.
A young, energetic and infectiously spirited team of fourteen (14) teachers including three (3) interns are dedicated to serving 25 to 30 students in each classroom.
Masibambane College is an Anglican school where Christian values form part of our daily worship and activities for the day.
Masibambane College Junior Primary offers a safe, creative and stimulating learning environment which encourages the development and progress of each child. We aim to equip each student with the cognitive, emotional, physical and social skills necessary for them to progress to Higher Primary.
