Welcome to Masibambane College

Mr Fingxa Headmaster of the College _masibambane“As Africans, we need to share a common recognition that all of us stand to lose if we fail to transform our continent.” –  Thabo Mbeki

As Masibambane College celebrates 20 years of its existence, we continue to pride ourselves on our 100% maric pass rate since 2013. The school opened its doors to grade 1 with a class of 41 pupils and 20 years later, the school is home to 1124 learners from Grade 0 to Grade 12. Academic excellence continues to prevail at Masibambane College, as the school has maintained its 100% pas rate for four consecutive years. For the class of 2017, we are aiming to achieve 80% Bachelors with a projection of a 100% Bachelors come 2020.

Our school continues to grow in care and excellence, despite the extreme challenges that our learners face on daily basis.

A sense of hope is given by all the stakeholders to ensure that learners feel safe and quality education is provided to all learners so that they stand a better chance of changing their own circumstances.

As an Anglican school, morning devotion is what glues all of us together – teachers and learners alike. We are confident that we will become one of the greatest schools in Africa serving a disadvantaged community. It is a great privilege for me to be working with a highly dedicated staff, supportive parents and hardworking learners.

Masibambane College offers support to learners who struggle in mathematics, science and English. This is done through an initiative by Momentum hence the Momentum-Masibambane Saturday and Holiday School. We have opened our doors to four of our neighboring Schools for grade 10 and 11, in a bid to journey with them to success in their Matric year. This programme also equips learners with leadership skills, exposes them to various careers and invites motivational speakers to inspire them.
